Busy busy busy

I think we are finally done with the final tweaking on our mixes. I spent a good few hours with the new songs and printed one more reference CD to check out before we take 'er to mastering.

I wish I could post the whole thing... I'm very excited and it sounds great.

I posted a new mix 'Jenny's on the Stereo' on our myspace and a stream of the new song 'Down in Arms' can be heard on our website. Check 'em out

Texas

Hans and Jens will be in Texas this week @ the South by Southwest festival. They will both be carrying promotional copies of the new Career Club CD.

No Drummer Left Behind

Bonjour mes amis!

Just a quick blog from the driver seat in the back of the band (behind the Zildjian Ks and the tight skins). Hans is working his magic not only in front of the mic and on the strings, but also behind the mixing desk. The new album is coming on strong and will bring peace and (even more) prosperity to Brooklyn.

While Hans and Jens are in Texas being their rock star selves, I will be performing this Friday (March 14) at 10 pm in a more urban and less country setting in the suave Metropolitan Room (NYC, 34 W 22nd St, btwn 5th & 6th Ave) with the gorgeous Micaela Leon (www.micaelaleon.com). The show features songs by Marlene Dietrich, Josephine Baker, and Jane Birkin. Yours truly will be behind the drums, on the guitar, and on vocals, respectively.
